Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2017 Week 48

The Champ is running the camp.

by Owen Douglass | December 01, 2017

Each week, we look through the win-loss records of the WWE Superstars during the year to see who really are the best and worst, if wins and losses actually mattered. You can view more over in our Statistics section. You can also help support us by subscribing to our Patreon.

We're in a post-Survivor Series lull where Raw is biding its time until January to build for the Royal Rumble, SmackDown is setting up for a inconsequential Clash of Champions, and NXT is airing weird house show episodes. So it must be December!

Top Raw Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Braun Strowman 20-9-2 1 1
2 Finn Bálor 20-9-1 2 1
3 Seth Rollins 23-15-1 3 2
4 Samoa Joe 16-9-2 4 4
5 Roman Reigns 21-15-1 6 (+1) 5
6 Dean Ambrose 20-15-2 5 (-1) 3
7 Jason Jordan 20-16-0 7 4
8 Brock Lesnar 5-1-0 8 5
9 Elias 15-13-0 9 3
10 Matt Hardy 15-14-0 10 2

With no pay-per-view before the Royal Rumble at the end of January, Raw really doesn't have a lot going on right now. Roman Reigns is still looking strong at least as he moves up another spot.

Top SmackDown Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 AJ Styles 23-16-2 5 (+4) 1
2 Jimmy Uso 17-10-0 1 (-1) 1
3 Shinsuke Nakamura 15-8-0 2 (-1) 1
4 Bobby Roode 11-4-0 3 (-1) 3
5 Shelton Benjamin 7-1-0 4 (-1) 4
6 Randy Orton 19-14-1 6 1
7 Jey Uso 15-11-0 7 5
8 Kofi Kingston 12-8-0 10 (+2) 3
9 Jinder Mahal 18-15-0 8 (-1) 3
10 Chad Gable 13-11-1 9 (-1) 9

AJ Styles had a really good week, since he propelled four spots into first after defeated two men in a handicap match. Just ignore the fact it was The Singh Brothers. Kofi Kingston also avoided falling off by taking down the #1 contenders for the tag titles with Xavier Woods.

Top Cruiserweights

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Rich Swann 33-10-0 2 (+1) 1
2 Akira Tozawa 31-10-1 1 (-1) 1
3 Cedric Alexander 32-13-0 3 3
4 Mustafa Ali 28-19-0 4 4
5 Gran Metalik 18-12-0 5 5
6 Kalisto 20-15-1 7 (+1) 5
7 Jack Gallagher 22-21-0 6 (-1) 1
8 TJP 20-23-0 8 4
9 Enzo Amore 16-21-1 9 9
10 Lince Dorado 10-16-0 - 10

Fallen off from last week: The Brian Kendrick (10)

Apparently no one in the Cruiserweight Division can handle it, as Rich Swann has moved up into the top position. His teaming with Cedric Alexander seems to be paying out dividends, unlike The Brian Kendrick teaming with Jack Gallagher which is hurting both of them.

Top NXT Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Aleister Black 12-0-0 1 1
2 Rezar 8-2-2 3 (+1) 1
3 The Velveteen Dream 7-1-0 4 (+1) 3
4 Angelo Dawkins 6-0-0 9 (+5) 4
5 Montez Ford 6-0-0 10 (+5) 5
6 Andrade "Cien" Almas 10-5-0 5 (-1) 5
7 Akam 8-3-2 6 (-1) 1
8 Otis Dozovic 7-2-0 7 (-1) 6
9 Tucker Knight 7-2-0 8 (-1) 7
10 Alexander Wolfe 6-2-3 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Drew McIntyre (2 - injured)

Drew McIntyre is now officially on the shelf until next year, so he has be deactivated and moved. It would have moved everyone up a spot, except the Street Profits had a big win this week that jumped them over half of the list and put them into the Top 5.

Top Female Superstars

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Asuka RAW 14-0-1 1 1
2 Sasha Banks RAW 25-15-1 2 1
3 Ember Moon NXT 10-4-1 3 3
4 Bayley RAW 19-14-1 4 3

8 Sonya Deville RAW 4-2-1 8 4
9 Kairi Sane NXT 3-1-0 - 9
10 Ruby Riott SD 6-5-2 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Naomi (9), Peyton Royce (10)

All the action is at the bottom of the list for the women. Kairi Sane defeated Peyton Royce on NXT to take her spot, and Ruby Riott and her Riott Squad took down Naomi and her partners so that Ruby could take her spot.

Top Jobbers

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev
1 Curt Hawkins RAW 0-29-0 1
2 Noam Dar RAW 9-37-0 2
3 Ariya Daivari RAW 11-37-1 3
4 Tony Nese RAW 16-39-0 4
5 Drew Gulak RAW 11-31-0 5
6 Dolph Ziggler SD 6-18-1 7 (+1)
7 Bo Dallas RAW 4-14-0 8 (+1)
8 Titus O'Neil RAW 5-15-0 -
9 Konnor SD 1-10-0 9
10 Viktor SD 1-10-0 10

Fallen off from last week: The Miz (6 - shooting movie)

The Miz is off to shoot a movie, and despite him being on the jobber list he was a bit part of what made Raw semi-watchable. This opened a spot for Titus O'Neil to return to the list, which was assisted by the fact that he was murdered by Samoa Joe this week.

Owen and John kick things off by playing the trivia game HQ to kick off the show before they are forced to talk about wrestling. This week brought us Woken Matt Hardy, the women's divisions doing terribly, The 12 Days of Rusev, and NXT giving us a late entry for Match of the Year.
