Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2018 Week 18

It's all about tag teams

by Owen Douglass | May 04, 2018

Each week, we look through the win-loss records of the WWE Superstars during the year to see who really are the best and worst, if wins and losses actually mattered. You can view more over in our Statistics section. You can also help support us by subscribing to our Patreon.

This is a weird week in the WWE, as it's both the week after The Greatest Royal Rumble but also the go-home to Backlash. But the theme this week seems to be tag teams making big moves in the rankings, which is weird since WWE doesn't seem to handle their tag divisions well.

Top Raw Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Braun Strowman 15-4-0 1 1
2 Matt Hardy 10-4-0 2 2
3 Seth Rollins 11-7-0 5 (+2) 3
4 Akam 6-2-1 6 (+2) 4
5 Rezar 6-2-1 7 (+2) 5
6 Brock Lesnar 3-0-0 8 (+2) 6
7 Dash Wilder 10-8-0 3 (-4) 1
8 Scott Dawson 10-8-0 4 (-4) 3
9 Bray Wyatt 7-5-0 10 (+1) 9
10 Bobby Lashley 3-1-0 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Finn Bálor (9)

The Revival lost the Breezango of all teams on Main Event this week. Apparently this loss was so devastating that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder dropped four spots. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Seth Rollins and the Authors of Pain picking up wins on Raw.

Top SmackDown Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Harper 10-0-0 1 1
2 Shinsuke Nakamura 9-2-2 2 1
3 Rowan 8-1-0 3 2
4 AJ Styles 11-5-3 4 2
5 Jeff Hardy 5-0-0 5 5
6 Daniel Bryan 2-1-1 6 6
7 Alexander Wolfe 2-1-0 7 7
8 Karl Anderson 8-8-0 8 6
9 Jimmy Uso 5-5-1 9 9
10 Andrade "Cien" Almas 2-2-0 10 10

There were only three matches on SmackDown this week, so it wasn't really enough to move anything in the rankings.

Top Cruiserweights

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Cedric Alexander 15-0-0 1 1
2 Gran Metalik 15-2-1 2 2
3 Lince Dorado 10-2-2 4 (+1) 3
4 Kalisto 12-5-0 3 (-1) 2
5 Mustafa Ali 8-4-0 5 4
6 Buddy Murphy 4-1-0 7 (+1) 6
7 Hideo Itami 4-3-2 6 (-1) 5
8 Mark Andrews 3-2-0 9 (+1) 6
9 The Brian Kendrick 2-1-0 10 (+1) 9
10 Akira Tozawa 6-6-1 8 (-2) 2

Kalisto losing to Drew Gulak has him fall down a spot, and the team of Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa suffered a loss that is threatening the future of the team.

Top NXT Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Pete Dunne 5-1-1 1 1
2 Aleister Black 4-1-0 2 2
3 Lars Sullivan 3-1-1 3 3
4 Kyle O'Reilly 3-1-0 4 4
5 Nick Miller 3-1-0 7 (+2) 5
6 Shane Thorne 3-1-0 8 (+2) 6
7 Velveteen Dream 3-2-0 6 (-1) 1
8 Hanson 1-0-0 9 (+1) 8
9 Kona Reeves 1-0-0 - 9
10 Rowe 1-0-0 10 10

Fallen off from last week: Roderick Strong (5)

TM61 had a surprising win this week on NXT over the Street Profits. It's not the fact that they won, but that cheated by having their feet on the ropes to do it. A heel turn is very much needed to make this team fresh. Also, I still have no idea what the hell Kona Reeves is.

Top Female Superstars

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Asuka SD 18-2-0 1 1
2 Charlotte Flair SD 9-5-0 2 2
3 Bianca Belair NXT 4-1-0 4 (+1) 2
4 Shayna Baszler NXT 4-1-0 3 (-1) 2
5 Nikki Cross NXT 2-0-0 5 4
6 Bayley RAW 8-7-1 6 2
7 Ruby Riott RAW 6-5-0 9 (+2) 7
8 Ronda Rousey RAW 1-0-0 8 7
9 Ember Moon RAW 4-4-0 10 (+1) 7
10 Sarah Logan RAW 4-4-0 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Candice LeRae (7)

Bianca Belair had an impressive win over Candice LeRae on NXT on her way to moving upward and knocking Candice completely off. Ruby Riott also moved up with a big win over Sasha Banks on Raw.

Top Jobbers

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev
1 Ariya Daivari RAW 0-17-0 1
2 Tony Nese RAW 1-16-0 2
3 Bo Dallas RAW 0-12-0 3
4 Curt Hawkins RAW 0-12-0 4
5 Curtis Axel RAW 0-12-0 5
6 Rhyno RAW 1-13-1 6
7 Kevin Owens RAW 1-12-2 8 (+1)
8 Apollo Crews RAW 4-15-1 7 (-1)
9 Heath Slater RAW 2-12-1 9
10 TJP RAW 4-14-0 10

Not a whole lot to report here, with Kevin Owens losing in a six-man tag match on Raw.
