Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2018 Week 19

Ratings are low for The Kevin & Sami Show

by Owen Douglass | May 11, 2018

Each week, we look through the win-loss records of the WWE Superstars during the year to see who really are the best and worst, if wins and losses actually mattered. You can view more over in our Statistics section. You can also help support us by subscribing to our Patreon.

Backlash sure was a shitshow, as it was a show full of matches from both brands and a couple co-branded ones, and none of it (outside of the first match) were any good. Less spots on the pay-per-views means it didn't effect the rankings as much as usual, which is a bit of a bummer.

Top Raw Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Braun Strowman 17-4-0 1 1
2 Matt Hardy 11-4-0 2 2
3 Seth Rollins 13-7-0 3 3
4 Akam 6-2-1 4 4
5 Rezar 6-2-1 5 5
6 Dash Wilder 11-8-0 7 (+1) 1
7 Scott Dawson 11-8-0 8 (+1) 3
8 Bray Wyatt 8-5-0 9 (+1) 8
9 Bobby Lashley 4-1-0 10 (+1) 9
10 Brock Lesnar 3-0-0 6 (-4) 6

The top half stays put, while Brock Lesnar fell to the bottom due to him continuing to be in active. And don't worry, it wasn't Bobby Lashley's promo on Monday that moved him up - he also had a forgettable match at Backlash.

Top SmackDown Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Harper 10-0-0 1 1
2 Shinsuke Nakamura 9-2-3 2 1
3 Rowan 8-1-0 3 2
4 AJ Styles 11-5-4 4 2
5 Jeff Hardy 6-1-0 5 5
6 Daniel Bryan 3-2-1 6 6
7 Alexander Wolfe 2-1-0 7 7
8 Karl Anderson 8-8-0 8 6
9 Jimmy Uso 5-5-1 9 9
10 Andrade "Cien" Almas 2-2-0 10 10

Another week without any movement for SmackDown's Top 10. It's as if their big WWE Championship Match ended in a no contest after two people simultaneously kicked each other in the dick.

Top Cruiserweights

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Cedric Alexander 16-0-0 1 1
2 Gran Metalik 16-2-1 2 2
3 Lince Dorado 11-2-2 3 3
4 Kalisto 12-5-0 4 2
5 Buddy Murphy 5-1-0 6 (+1) 5
6 Mustafa Ali 8-5-0 5 (-1) 4
7 Hideo Itami 4-3-2 7 5
8 Mark Andrews 3-2-0 8 6
9 Akira Tozawa 6-6-1 10 (+1) 2
10 The Brian Kendrick 2-2-0 9 (-1) 9

Buddy Murphy continues to work his way toward an Cruiserweight Championship match, beating Mustafa Ali on 205 Live and moving ahead of him in the rankings. Also The Brian Kendrick fell a spot after his team lost to The Lucha House Party, who are currently on fire in the division.

Top NXT Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Pete Dunne 5-1-1 1 1
2 Aleister Black 4-1-0 2 2
3 Lars Sullivan 3-1-1 3 3
4 Kyle O'Reilly 3-1-0 4 4
5 Nick Miller 3-1-0 5 5
6 Shane Thorne 3-1-0 6 6
7 Hanson 2-0-0 8 (+1) 7
8 Rowe 2-0-0 10 (+2) 8
9 Velveteen Dream 3-2-0 7 (-2) 1
10 Kona Reeves 1-0-0 9 (-1) 9

War Machine had their second match and destroyed Heavy Machinery, slowly moving them up the ranks. Velveteen Dream did have a good segment though, but unfortunately it looks like it's going to lead to a loss which won't help his position near the bottom.

Top Female Superstars

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Asuka SD 18-2-0 1 1
2 Charlotte Flair SD 10-6-0 2 2
3 Bianca Belair NXT 4-1-0 3 2
4 Shayna Baszler NXT 4-1-0 4 2
5 Nikki Cross NXT 2-0-0 5 4
6 Ruby Riott RAW 7-6-0 7 (+1) 6
7 Ember Moon RAW 5-4-0 9 (+2) 7
8 Ronda Rousey RAW 1-0-0 8 7
9 Bayley RAW 8-8-1 6 (-3) 2
10 Sarah Logan RAW 4-4-0 10 10

Bayley continues to be terrible, and a loss on the Backlash Kickoff has her dangerously close to the bottom of the list. Ruby Riott was the victor of that match and moved up, while Ember Moon had a bigger jump upward with her qualifying for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

8 Apollo Crews RAW 4-16-1 8

10 Sami Zayn RAW 3-14-2 -

Fallen off from last week: TJP (10)

This is now The Kevin & Sami Show, as Kevin Owens moved up again and Sami Zayn returns to the list. If you thought things would go better for them with a trade to Raw... you would be wrong.
