Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2018 Week 31

The queen returns

by Owen Douglass | August 03, 2018

Each week, we look through the win-loss records of the WWE Superstars during the year to see who really are the best and worst, if wins and losses actually mattered. You can view more over in our Statistics section. You can also help support us by subscribing to our Patreon.

This week Raw had an especially bad episode while SmackDown soared with some great storytelling to go along with the good in-ring action. Meanwhile NXT had a match with two annoying people who are almost the same gimmick, except for the fact one is a poser.

Top Raw Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Braun Strowman 23-9-0 1 1
2 Rezar 12-2-1 3 (+1) 2
3 Akam 12-3-1 2 (-1) 2
4 Seth Rollins 19-14-0 6 (+2) 3
5 Bobby Lashley 9-4-0 5 5
6 Matt Hardy 14-10-0 4 (-2) 2
7 Bray Wyatt 11-8-0 7 3
8 Brock Lesnar 3-0-0 9 (+1) 6
9 Dash Wilder 14-12-0 - 9
10 Scott Dawson 14-12-0 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Drew McIntyre (8), Mojo Rawley (10)

The Authors of Pain swapped places because the one whose name begins with an A decided to lose (complete ties are broken alphabetically). Seth Rollins and Matt Hardy also traded places as one of them won and the other continued their losing streak. Oh, and The Revival are here now since they're getting a temporary push for SummerSlam.

Top SmackDown Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Harper 13-3-0 1 1
2 AJ Styles 16-7-4 2 2
3 Rowan 11-2-0 3 2
4 Shinsuke Nakamura 13-6-3 4 1
5 Jeff Hardy 10-5-0 5 5
6 Daniel Bryan 9-5-1 6 5
7 Andrade "Cien" Almas 7-3-0 7 6
8 Xavier Woods 9-8-1 8 8
9 Eric Young 5-4-0 9 8
10 Karl Anderson 10-10-0 10 6

SmackDown has started using the NXT approach to booking and not having the same people compete every single week. Because of that, no one on the Top 10 had matches this week!

Top Cruiserweights

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Cedric Alexander 20-0-0 1 1
2 Gran Metalik 17-5-1 2 2
3 Lince Dorado 14-6-2 3 3
4 Kalisto 15-9-1 4 2
5 Mustafa Ali 11-7-1 5 4
6 Lio Rush 4-1-0 6 6
7 Hideo Itami 6-5-2 7 5
8 Buddy Murphy 5-4-1 8 5
9 Noam Dar 2-1-0 10 (+1) 7
10 Akira Tozawa 10-10-1 - 10

Fallen off from last week: The Brian Kendrick (9)

Akira Tozawa continues to appear and disappear from the list, while Cedric Alexander continued his undefeated year with a 20th win.

Top NXT Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Pete Dunne 9-1-1 1 1
2 Hanson 5-0-0 2 2
3 Rowe 5-0-0 3 3
4 Aleister Black 6-2-0 4 2
5 Nick Miller 6-3-0 5 2
6 Shane Thorne 6-3-0 6 3
7 Adam Cole 9-7-0 8 (+1) 7
8 Lars Sullivan 4-2-1 9 (+1) 2
9 Kona Reeves 3-1-0 7 (-1) 7
10 Tommaso Ciampa 3-1-0 10 10

Kona Reeves flew too close to the sun as he tried to take on EC3, whose gimmick is what Reeves wishes his was, and it cost him his perfect record. Even Velveteen Dream distracting EC3 wasn't enough to save him.

2 Shayna Baszler NXT 8-1-0 2 2

9 Naomi SD 8-8-0 9 8
10 Sarah Logan RAW 8-8-0 7 (-3) 6

Fallen off from last week: Lacey Evans (10)

Charlotte Flair finally made her return to SmackDown, and immediately punched her ticket into a title match at SummerSlam. Alicia Fox also moved up a spot due to them giving her a win before Ronda Rousey kills her next week.
