Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2018 Week 4

The final rankings heading into Royal Rumble weekend

by Owen Douglass | January 26, 2018

Each week, we look through the win-loss records of the WWE Superstars during the year to see who really are the best and worst, if wins and losses actually mattered. You can view more over in our Statistics section. You can also help support us by subscribing to our Patreon.

It's finally here. WWE is invading Philadelphia this weekend with four straight nights as it is Royal Rumble time. I'll be attending all four nights, so I'm hopeful they actually put on some good shows despite things being up and down lately. Here are how everyone stacks up before 58+ people take losses.

Top Raw Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Goldust 4-0-0 1 1
2 Karl Anderson 3-0-0 3 (+1) 2
3 Luke Gallows 3-0-0 4 (+1) 3
4 Finn Bálor 3-1-0 2 (-2) 1
5 Titus O'Neil 2-0-1 6 (+1) 5
6 Bray Wyatt 2-0-0 10 (+4) 3
7 The Miz 2-0-0 - 7
8 Apollo Crews 2-1-1 7 (-1) 7
9 Matt Hardy 2-1-0 5 (-4) 5
10 Braun Strowman 1-0-0 9 (-1) 2

Fallen off from last week: Roman Reigns (8)

Roman Reigns falls off the list, but maybe that's just a distraction so you don't seem him win the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia again. The Club is still riding high at least, with Goldust remaining just above them in the top spot because this month has been weird.

Top SmackDown Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Bobby Roode 3-0-0 1 1
2 Sami Zayn 2-1-0 - 2
3 Xavier Woods 2-1-0 - 3
4 Fandango 1-0-0 2 (-2) 1
5 Harper 1-0-0 3 (-2) 2
6 Jimmy Uso 1-0-0 5 (-1) 2
7 Kofi Kingston 1-0-0 - 7
8 Randy Orton 1-0-0 6 (-2) 6
9 Rowan 1-0-0 7 (-2) 7
10 Tyler Breeze 1-0-0 8 (-2) 8

Fallen off from last week: Jey Uso (4), AJ Styles (9), Jinder Mahal (10)

Sami Zayn debuts very high up on the list with a big win over the WWE Champion in the main event of SmackDown after a loss by Kevin Owens just before it. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston teamed with the top dog Bobby Roode to get a big tag win that also helped them jump in high on the list.

Top Cruiserweights

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Cedric Alexander 6-0-0 1 1
2 Gran Metalik 4-0-0 2 2
3 Kalisto 2-0-0 - 3
4 Akira Tozawa 2-1-0 3 (-1) 2
5 Hideo Itami 1-0-0 - 5
6 Lince Dorado 1-0-0 - 6
7 Mustafa Ali 1-2-0 5 (-2) 4
8 TJP 2-4-0 4 (-4) 2

The Cruiserweight list is starting to flesh itself out as we had more people competing and winning this week. They needed to do this to distract from the fact that the Cruiserweight Champion was stripped of the title and fired for sexual assault allegations. Yikes.

Top NXT Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Akam 1-0-0 1 1
2 Bobby Fish 1-0-0 2 1
3 Johnny Gargano 1-0-0 - 3
4 Kassius Ohno 1-0-0 3 (-1) 2
5 Kyle O'Reilly 1-0-0 4 (-1) 3
6 Lars Sullivan 1-0-0 5 (-1) 4
7 No Way Jose 1-0-0 - 7
8 Rezar 1-0-0 6 (-2) 6
9 Riddick Moss 1-0-0 7 (-2) 7
10 Tino Sabbatelli 1-0-0 8 (-2) 8

Fallen off from last week: Roderick Strong (9)

Johnny Gargano and No Way Jose jumped into the list with wins this week, but the order doesn't really matter since everyone is 1-0-0.

Top Female Superstars

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Asuka RAW 4-0-0 1 1
2 Sasha Banks RAW 3-1-0 5 (+3) 2
3 Bayley RAW 2-0-0 7 (+4) 3
4 Sarah Logan SD 2-0-0 3 (-1) 3
5 Liv Morgan SD 2-1-0 2 (-3) 2
6 Ruby Riott SD 2-1-0 4 (-2) 4
7 Bianca Belair NXT 1-0-0 - 7
8 Lacey Evans NXT 1-0-0 8 8
9 Shayna Baszler NXT 1-0-0 9 8
10 Alicia Fox RAW 1-1-0 6 (-4) 1

Fallen off from last week: Becky Lynch (10)

Asuka still reigns supreme, including in the Mixed Match Challenge. Sasha Banks and Bayley moved up right behind her past the Riott Squad though, and Bianca Belair had an impressive first match of the year in NXT to join the list.

Top Jobbers

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev
1 Ariya Daivari RAW 0-5-0 1
2 Tony Nese RAW 0-5-0 3 (+1)
3 Drew Gulak RAW 0-4-0 2 (-1)
4 Aiden English SD 0-3-0 5 (+1)
5 Cesaro RAW 0-3-0 4 (-1)
6 Curt Hawkins RAW 0-3-0 7 (+1)
7 Heath Slater RAW 0-2-1 9 (+2)
8 Bo Dallas RAW 0-2-0 6 (-2)
9 Carmella SD 0-2-0 -
10 Curtis Axel RAW 0-2-0 8 (-2)

Fallen off from last week: Natalya (10)

Everything seems to be fluctuating as usual on this list. The only notable thing is Natalya giving up her spot to fellow SmackDown superstar and Ms. Money in the Bank Carmella because she took an L in the Mixed Match Challenge.
