Top WWE Superstars & Jobbers: 2018 Week 5

Undisputed

by Owen Douglass | February 02, 2018

Each week, we look through the win-loss records of the WWE Superstars during the year to see who really are the best and worst, if wins and losses actually mattered. You can view more over in our Statistics section. You can also help support us by subscribing to our Patreon.

WWE invaded Philadelphia with four straight nights of action, and I'm still trying to recover from attending all of it. In the aftermath, a lot of changes have happened to the rankings. This was helped by 58 people suffering losses from the two Royal Rumble matches, which absolutely count.

Top Raw Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Goldust 4-1-0 1 1
2 Braun Strowman 3-1-0 10 (+8) 2
3 Dash Wilder 3-1-0 - 3
4 Karl Anderson 3-1-0 2 (-2) 2
5 Luke Gallows 3-1-0 3 (-2) 3
6 Scott Dawson 3-1-0 - 6
7 The Miz 3-1-0 7 7
8 Bray Wyatt 2-1-0 6 (-2) 3
9 Brock Lesnar 1-0-0 - 9
10 Finn Bálor 3-3-0 4 (-6) 1

Fallen off from last week: Titus O'Neil (5), Apollo Crews (8), Matt Hardy (9)

Goldust, despite getting his first loss in the Royal Rumble match, still sits at the top of the rankings. Big wins on Sunday by The Revival and Brock Lesnar helped them make it to on the list, but the biggest story of the week is Braun Strowman. He lost to Lesnar, but then over the next two nights murdered Kane by flipping the stage on him and advanced in the Mixed Match Challenge while teasing that Alexa Bliss is gonna get those hands. There is no wrong he can do.

Top SmackDown Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Bobby Roode 4-0-0 1 1
2 AJ Styles 4-2-0 - 2
3 Shinsuke Nakamura 3-1-1 - 3
4 Harper 2-0-0 5 (+1) 2
5 Jimmy Uso 2-0-0 6 (+1) 2
6 Rowan 2-0-0 9 (+3) 6
7 Jey Uso 2-1-0 - 7
8 Chad Gable 2-2-0 - 8
9 Xavier Woods 2-2-0 3 (-6) 3
10 Baron Corbin 1-1-1 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Sami Zayn (2), Fandango (4), Kofi Kingston (7), Randy Orton (8), Tyler Breeze (10)

Half of the SmackDown list is new names in the biggest shake-up of the week. WWE Champion AJ Styles and Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura jump in right behind United States Champion Bobby Roode, while we lose the likes of Breezango. Hopefully we'll see them back on here soon rather than the jobber list.

Top Cruiserweights

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Cedric Alexander 7-0-0 1 1
2 Gran Metalik 6-1-0 2 2
3 Kalisto 4-0-0 3 3
4 Lince Dorado 3-0-0 6 (+2) 4
5 Akira Tozawa 2-1-0 4 (-1) 2
6 Hideo Itami 1-0-0 5 (-1) 5
7 Mustafa Ali 1-2-0 7 4
8 TJP 3-6-0 8 2

Lince Dorado moved up with his luchador pals with a pair of wins on Sunday and Main Event, but the big news is Drake Maverick arriving on 205 Live and kickstarting a championship tournament. It'll be interesting what matchups come out of this.

Top NXT Superstars

# Superstar W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Bobby Fish 2-0-0 2 (+1) 1
2 Kyle O'Reilly 2-0-0 5 (+3) 2
3 Roderick Strong 2-1-0 - 3
4 Lars Sullivan 1-0-0 6 (+2) 4
5 Nick Miller 1-0-0 - 5
6 No Way Jose 1-0-0 7 (+1) 6
7 Riddick Moss 1-0-0 9 (+2) 7
8 Shane Thorne 1-0-0 - 8
9 Tino Sabbatelli 1-0-0 10 (+1) 8
10 Akam 1-1-0 1 (-9) 1

Fallen off from last week: Johnny Gargano (3), Kassius Ohno (4), Rezar (8)

Johnny Gargano's loss at TakeOver: Philadelphia was so devastating that he went from third place to completely out of the Top 10. However, The Undisputed Era are now sitting at the top of the brand and I don't think they intend to let it go anytime soon.

Top Female Superstars

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev Peak
1 Asuka RAW 6-0-0 1 1
2 Bayley RAW 3-1-0 3 (+1) 2
3 Sarah Logan SD 2-1-0 4 (+1) 3
4 Bianca Belair NXT 1-0-0 7 (+3) 4
5 Nikki Cross NXT 1-0-0 - 5
6 Sasha Banks RAW 3-3-0 2 (-4) 2
7 Liv Morgan SD 2-2-0 5 (-2) 2
8 Ruby Riott SD 2-2-0 6 (-2) 4
9 Alexa Bliss RAW 1-1-0 - 9
10 Ember Moon NXT 1-1-0 - 10

Fallen off from last week: Lacey Evans (8), Shayna Baszler (9), Alicia Fox (10 - injured)

Asuka is still undefeated heading out of the Royal Rumble match, and the losses from everyone else sort of pushed them all down. Bayley did move into the second spot though after a weird Main Event appearance, and Ember Moon took Shayna Baszler spot by defeating her at TakeOver: Philadelphia.

Top Jobbers

# Superstar Brand W-L-D Prev
1 Ariya Daivari RAW 0-6-0 1
2 Drew Gulak RAW 0-5-0 3 (+1)
3 Tony Nese RAW 0-5-0 2 (-1)
4 Heath Slater RAW 0-4-1 6 (+2)
5 Aiden English SD 0-4-0 4 (-1)
6 Jack Gallagher RAW 0-4-0 -
7 Kevin Owens SD 0-4-0 -
8 Adam Cole NXT 0-3-0 -
9 Carmella SD 0-3-0 9
10 Curt Hawkins RAW 0-3-0 6 (-4)

Fallen off from last week: Cesaro (5), Bo Dallas (8), Curtis Axel (10)

The big surprises here are the fact that Adam Cole and Kevin Owens, two of the biggest names on their respective brands, are now sitting on the jobber list without a single win in January. It's really hard to give these guys momentum if you won't let them at least win once in a while.
